IanMenary Ltd is a youth justice consultancy provided by Ian Menary, a highly experienced youth justice professional with over 15 years experiencing helping YOTs and youth justice partners understand the services they provide, and how these can be improved. For much of this time Ian developed and led youth offending inspection programmes. Now, following retirement from HMI Probation, Ian makes his skills and experience available directly to the youth justice sector through provision of consultancy services. Ian led and developed both general performance inspection programmes within HMI Probation , but also thematic inspections on Referral Orders and Out-of-Court disposals and so can also bring particularly comprehensive knowledge of these. Services available include performance improvement support, quality assurance, management support, staff and management training, post- inspection improvement support and guidance on inspection preparedness. Most services are provided directly by Ian Menary. For larger assignments he has links with other highly experienced associates who can assist him.
